AEPhi's national philanthropic efforts focus on supporting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and Sharsheret.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing pediatric HIV infection and eliminating pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention, care and treatment programs. Founded in 1988, EGPAF works in 15 countries around the world.

Sharsheret, Hebrew for "chain," is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young women and their families, of all Jewish backgrounds, facing breast cancer. Their mission is to offer a community of support to women diagnosed with breast cancer or at increased genetic risk, by fostering culturally relevant individualized connections with networks of peers, health professionals, and related resources.

We hold one philanthropy event each semester to raise money for our two foundations. In the past we have sold care packages, cupcakes, muffins, and goldfish.
